Local Amenities

Petrol Stations

The nearest petrol stations are located approximately three and a half miles away in the nearby town of Framlingham. There are two petrol stations, one on Saxmundham Road and the other on Station Road. 


There is a bus service between Framlingham and Ipswich via Earl Soham.  The timetable is available here.


There is a renowned butchers shop (Huttons) in the village, which provides meat and a variety of basic groceries. 

For a larger shop, the nearest supermarket is the Co-Op in the thriving market town of Framlingham. The Framlingham website has more details on other local shops. 


The local pub, The Victoria, is well-frequented and serves Victoria Bitter, produced by the villages own micro-brewery.

Village Hall

The Village Hall offers a wide range of activities. Both the village hall and the school hall can be booked for private hire.
