Hollesley Bay absconder recaptured

A Hollesley Bay prisoner who absconded this morning, Thursday 18 May, has been recaptured.

James Fryer, 29, who is serving an indeterminate sentence for robbery and receiving stolen goods, was reported as missing following a roll call at 8am.

He was detained by police in the Sutton area just before midday following a call from a member of the public and will be returned to custody in due course.

Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance with this appeal.
